We are proud to announce that we are under new ownership!

In January of 2019 Rob Tyler and Bill Kurtin became the new owners of Heli-Lynx Helicopters. Under the leadership of Bentley Thistlethwaite and Matt Traehern we plan to expand into the VIP sector and offering customized completions, maintenance, and support for private and commercial operators. We are also rebooting the “FX” program, which changes the AS350/H125’s electrical systems and engine for reduced maintenance and operating costs.

HeliClub fly-in highlights safety

In the works: EC130 B4

Here at Heli-Lynx we are currently working on an EC130 B4. New windscreens are being installed along with a 3000 FH/ 72 Month Inspection.

R44 Build

Things are getting busy here at Heli-Lynx as we diligently work towards rebuilding and finishing the 2009 Robinson R44 Raven II. This aircraft is undergoing a complete factory overhaul and should be taking to the skies June 2018.

12 Year Inspection Complete!

Transmission

This week we are in the final stages of wrapping up a 12 year inspection on a 350B2. The aircraft will be completed and prepared to be shipped via shipping container this Thursday.

Some of the stages in the 12 year inspection include:

  • Complete disassembly of the aircraft.
  • Careful inspection of all flight controls.
  • Any defective components are replaced or repaired.
