Here at Abitibi Helicopters we are proud to be operating the Heli Lynx FX2 aircraft. We will have 10 by the summer of 2008 and we have been very happy with the aircrafts performance to date. Our aircrew have a lot more margin at altitude then with the Turbomeca 1D1 engines. Since our main business and flight regimes are all precision vertical lift, they can now concentrate on their loads rather then wondering if they have enough power to lift it.
Our aircraft maintenance engineers like the overall design and ease of aintenance that the FX program was built on. We have had no failures of the electrical system to date with over 6000 hours cumulative on all of our A/C.
Heli Lynx quality and top management welcomed all customer feed back and have been exceptional with their quick response. We did sign up with a brand new idea at the time and we have been more then satisfied with the results. It is great to see such Canadian innovations on the AS 350 A Star.
